As aerosol cans are dispensing systems, they are one of the few packaging options that consumers interact with, thus making the look and feel important factors in the consumer experience.

A clean and hygienic packaging solution, the cans are airtight, resulting in a long product shelf life. They have good resistance to bacteria and dust contamination. Their contents do not evaporate and the product’s characteristics do not change over its lifetime.

Empty aerosol cans are recyclable, as they are made from tinplate steel or aluminum.  They are also environmentally-friendly, due to regulations that prohibit the use of CFC propellants in almost all aerosol products manufactured and sold around the world.

Aerosol cans consist of 3 parts:

  • the “Cone”: the top of the can

  • the “Dome”:  the bottom of the can

  • the “Body”: printed sheets forming the cylindrical surface area

Containers Printers supplies all three components of aerosol cans: the Cone, the Dome and the Body, according to your product requirements.  As aerosol cans have the ability to adopt a wide range of appearances, final packages can feature a variety of finishes and designs – from subtle shaping to modern asymmetrical designs. Through shaping, the body can be contoured in comfortable, easy-to-grip shapes, allowing for convenient product dispensing.
